Danville, Ill.—Robert F. Davis, 68, Danville, died at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 1989 at United Samarians Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville.
  He was born June 18, 1920 in West Lebanon, the son of George and Edna Anderson Davis. He was married Aug. 3, 1941 in Danville, to Julia Chromis, who preceded him in death in 1978. He later married Helen Jeane Kerby in Champaign, Ill., in 1985, and she survives.
  He was the owner of the Bowling Ball, 300 Room, for 38 years, where he retired in 1982. He later worked for the First Midwest Bank in Danville and in the Dietary Department at Cannon School.
  He attended Central Christian Church and was a member of Elks Lodge 332 and American Legion Post 210.
  He enjoyed bowling, golfing, Indy car racing and fishing. He was also an avid Illinois, Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
  Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Kenneth and George, both of Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Kathleen) Summers, Savoy, Ill.; Mrs. Gerry (Rosalie) Senese, Niagara Falls, N. Y., and Mrs. Michael (Marcia) Palermo, Danville; a stepson, Curtis Smith, Boca Raton, Fla.; six brothers, Lloyd, Gladstone, Kan.; Earl, Georgetown, Ill.; Stanley, Indianapolis, and Joseph, Richard and James, all of Danville; two sisters, Glendora Burmeister, Danville, and Marjorie Ellis, Diamond City, Ark.; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two granddaughters.
  Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Martin and Dave Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park with military rites by American Legion Post 210. -s
